On Sunday, July 4th, after a day filled with exciting softball played in front of thousands of spectators, at 10:15 p.m. the sky above Orrville is filled with one of the largest and best known fireworks shows in all of Ohio!

Just a few of the post about our tournament:

Fire in the Sky is a GREAT tournament. Great competetion, last year had West Virginia Thunder, Pitt Power,Pitt Roadrunners, Ashland Blaze, Ohio Hurricanes and some good teams from New York, Michigan, and Ohio. Fields are the dragged, watered, and lined after EVERY game. The Orville Fire Fighters do an unbelievable job hosting this tournament. Plus, its a great family enviroment with the carnival and fireworks. Would strongly recommend it.

rfhoma,

It was a fantastic. One of my parents said it best. There are a lot of girls that will be playing College ball and will not get the same opportunity to play in front of two to Three thousand plus people.

The support from the home town people was un real. Orville is s fun as any World Series. With the Festival and the fire works show, it made it even better. Announcing the girls name before the championship game and playing the National Anthem was spectacular. They also announced the girls names before every at bat.

The Orville fire fighters worked hard. They dragged and lined the field before each game.

Orrville best tournnament we went to in last 6 years AWSOME

:) !! ?Hats off to the Orville Firefighters. ?They did an amazing job and lets not forget they worked like crazy to even get this off the ground after all the rain. ?This was our second year there and both were a great experience! ?Our kids love coming here.
We didn't see a bad team all weekend and all the kids from all area's were great. ?Umpires were great, people were nice, crowds were amazing and the venue is the most comfortable in tournament play! ?The final two were deserving of the championship game. ?Congratulations to both! Again, it was a great experience.

Fire in the Sky at Orrville hands down best tournament we have ever attended. Last years semi-finals featured teams from 4 differant states. Nice family atmosphere with the carnival going on right at the park where you play. Several thousand people watching championship game and Fireworks were awsome after championship game. Tournament is for only 14u teams, I would highly recommend.

I don't want to pretend to speak for MD, but I'm thinking he was asking for the NAMES of teams that have entered in an particular age division. Your tournament sounds like a ton of fun but there are teams who will want some sense of the level of competition before they commit. Thanks.

You're right about the don't miss tourney. I grew up in the area. Awesome carnival, Smucker's store just down the road, Coccia House pizza 20 minutes away, fantastic fireworks and parade, large grocery store just down the road for those forgotten items (walking distance), etc. It's just flat out awesome.

We will release a team list once we are near our max. team limit and received deposits from a majority of those teams. If your team is worried about the quality of competition at our tournament we have had numerous teams from our tournament in the last couple years be very successful at the ASA Nationals. Some of these teams being from out of state, last year our final four teams were one each from Ohio, New York, Penn, and WV. IF a team still feels its necessary to know the teams before registering please contact me at fireintheskysoftball@gmail.com

CatchersDad: Our reservations are almost full... once a majority of deposits/full payments are received we will release a Team List immediately I expect this to happen in a month or so. We are receiving such a big response and expect to be full for our largest tournament yet with 32 teams.
