I just want thank Mike W.( and Julie of course ) and Gaps staff . Great tournament, fields were is excellent shape, raked and lined after every game is awesome. The tournament was well ran and the umps did what i thought was a pretty good job after our first game!

I saw more good umps than bad for sure this weekend. The field crews did a fantastic job this weekend. I would say that the 10u needs fences or maybe moved to a field that has a flatter outfield.

No question a lot of hard work went into making this tournament run so smoothly. Must have felt like a walk in the park compared to other years, though, with rain kept to a minimum!!

Great tournament with great depth in the draws.

PS I'm not a copycat wiggy, we were posting at virtually the same time. Great seeing you this weekend!

Great job Mike & Co. It is a pleasure to play there and play great competition. We played 8 games and our girls were challenged every game(win or lose). The ground crews did an excellent job.

You must not have seen any of our games. Lol. We really only had one that I thought had no business being behind the plate. I guess that's not so bad. Grounds crews were great!! As usual.

I would say the same - we saw a lot more good than bad umps. Sure makes the game a lot more enjoyable. The fields we played on were nice with lots of warm up space.

Congrats on another superb event. I am not sure if evryone who played realizes the terrific amount of time that you and your volunteers have invested in the event since last year at this time. I have run lots of events including a USSSA world but I wouldn't have the courage to take on what you do.

Do you have any tally on your hours/volunteer hours to give the teams an idea of the investment each of you made. I would be willing to bet that the hours at the fields this past weekend were just a small portion of the overall hours.

I would like to make sure that Turbos parents and players are recognized for their efforts as well - these parents have been absolutely fantastic every year making sure that concessions are covered and fields are in the best shape possible.

All of the ladies working the concession stand at Olentangy HS were incredibly polite. Almost to a fault. I wanted to tell them, hey we're not at Chez Pierre or something like that. Lol. They did a great job!!

there is some money made--but the rate per hour is below minimum wage.

I have mangaged as many as 800 people at at a time during my career and that was easier than trying to get all the volunteers lined up and working cohesively for one tournament a year--Again, my hat is off to the organization for pulling all that off so splendidly.

Awesome tournament! The weather was our best friend...plenty of room to warm up, great competition with old friends, everything stayed on time, staff/volunteers were helpful and NICE. You know how some of these things can get....they just start wearing on the volunteers. It was a great weekend at the ball park!
