Everyone, thanks for the kind comments (well most anyway). This was our 6th year and I think most teams were happy with the accomidations, we do take pride in what we do, our tourney isn't cheap and you deserve the best.
My hat is off to Wilson. The boy puts in many many hours. He makes sure things are in line, operating correctly, and addresses any issues that arise. Yes, he can't do it alone, I guess I put in some hours too
and the volunteer base we have is second to none when it comes to treating the fans, players, umpires, and coaches with respect they deserve.
With no rain this year, my crews caught up on some much deserve rest from past rain infested games. I was happy they didn't need to break their backs like they did last year.
As for the baseball fields, I am the 1st to recommend we get the **** off of these fields. They are very very hard to prep. They are too hard, too large, and a baseball pitchers mound set at 60' is unacceptable.
We had to use these bball fields as Orange HS was a mess. Trust me, you didn't want to fight this traffic.
We will address the fields we use at our fall meeting. Any other advice/comments are always welcome.
Thank you for your continued patronage.
