East is going to be tough to beat with Sara.
West and Mason will be solid again. Question with Mason is how do they respond with the coaching change.
Colerain should be able to improve on the .500 season last year and maybe battle for the top spots in the GMC if all the pieces come together.
Fairfield lost Jaisa but, should be ok with a solid D and several strong hitters in their line up.
Hamilton should be able to compete with all the GMC teams.

Oak Hills, Middletown, Sycamore, Princeton will battle each other to round out the bottom.

I agree about East, they will be the team to watch out for followed by Fairfield and Mason.

Middletown has a new coaching staff this year. Can't wait to see what kind of changes will be made but we're still hurting with pitching.

Playerwise, 2 players ive worked with alot is Kelly Browning from Fairfield who really tore it up last year as a sophomore, i see her topping last years numbers. Another player that should break out this year is Ainsley Ellison from Lakota East, who has now added some pop to go with her speed.

I think you pretty much nailed it with this post. Lakota East, Lakota West, Mason, and Fairfield should finish at the top. Colerain and Hamilton will also be competitive and the other four will struggle in the GMC. Usually it comes down to pitching and coaching. I know that LE and LW have strong pitchers, I'm not sure who will be pitching for the other schools though, so this should be interesting.

Finally, finally, finally, Middletown has a new, well informed coach, who brings a lot of knowledge and success to the program, but the program is so far behind, that it will take a few years to "catch up" with the other mid-level teams in the GMC. Middletown also lacks pitching, but I am excited to see how much they will improve in the next few years. Hang in there coach!!

If anyone has a chance to hang with Lakota East it's Lakota West with Alex Caudill.

Who is the new Middletown coach? I knew Van Sams had left but never heard who they hired. They have one of the best players in the city in Bri Lipscomb.

Sara Bilstrom is the new Middletown Coach. She played at Miami and is a great young lady. Coaching our U18 Bustos Ultimates Team this summer. I won't be able to root for her when the Middies play Hamilton though.

Sara Billstrom from Miami University is the new head coach at Middletown. As Crunchtime said, she is well informed and should bring alot of knowledge and success to the program. This has been a long time coming and the players are ready and eager to get on the field. For the first time in a long time there is a little pep within the players. In talking with several of the girls, they are very excited about their new coach.

And Yes, Brianna Lipscomb is just a stud.
