Lately everywhere ive been has had really far fences. Nothing is better then seeing the over the fence homeruns. What are some tournaments where you see some shorter distances to the fences ?
Re: Good parks/ tourneys to see over the fence sho
The Valley Extreme fields in Courtland have fences. Not sure of the distances tho. They can definitely be breached. My dd has been eyeing them since we started practicing outdoors. Go VE Pierce!! We're looking forward to our first outdoor tourney this weekend in Boardman! ;D

Even though I forgot the name of the park but the Zanesville tournaments has fields that has short porches. It has 4 fields that sit on top of a hill, I think its in the New Concord area. These are used for the younger ages of course.

KYLE PARK IN TIPP CITY WHERE THE "FALL FRENZY" TOUNAMENT IS PLAYED HAS HOME RUN FRIENDLY FENCES. 210' AT THE CORNERS AND 225' TO CENTER I THINK.

Hands down it has to be Sater Fields in Greenville for the Ohio Wave tourney. Four fields all 165' down the line. Only 10s and 12s play on these fields. Last year four 10U homers were hit and about 6-7 for 12U. It's not to often 10s and 12s get to "jog" around the bases. Looking foward to it again this year.

any tourney held at Pick Central has the oppurtunity for some fireworks...we'll be at Berliner with those straddle-fences, but they are so far back and downhill, a blooper down the line ends up being a triple...

There is one very short field in Huron if the Dawg Daze tournament is still being held there. The field is tucked up against State Route 6. I think they only let 10U play on it - can't be more than 125' to right field. Center and left are about normal from what I recall.

The 10U fence at Huron is about 125, and the field next to it for 12U is only about 160. All the other diamonds are around 185, definitely alot of HR's hit their during all their GREAT Tournaments
