Glad you was able to get your room. I think her name was Christy or Christine???? She was the event/group planner???? She use to give the teams the $69.00 per night rate. $79 is still a good deal. The The Drury Inn is probably the nicest hotel there. It is only a few years old. Did they tell you about the free appitizers and drinks every night from 5:30-7pm? I do believe it even includes 2 free alcohol drinks per adult

Looks like it is going to be hotter than blue blazes this weekend. We are working on ways to help relieve players and umpires from the heat. There is not much shade at the park, we encourage teams to bring their canopies to set up team camps to help get out of the heat...

We have received some calls from teams who are hearing rumors that the Southern Ohio Hammerheads BatAttack has been cancelled.

This rumor is NOT TRUE!!!!!

Schedules have been sent out, posted on our website and we are all systems go for 35 teams to invade Lefferson Park in Middletown on Saturday morning for the BatAttack!:yahoo:

Got a little rain yesterday, but all games were played. Bracket play today.

We couldn't beat the rain on Sunday...
It made us sick to close out the tournament the way we had to, but Mother Nature just was not going to cooperate.
