ASA Tournament Hammerheads Fall Feeding Frenzy - ASA Qualifier - Oct. 23-24

Will all teams still be in the same pool or seperated? How will it be determined who will get which bit?

I think with offering the "A" bid you should get more teams signing up at the last minute. When is the cutoff date?

In talking with Shorty, there is a number of ways to do it.
1. A separate pool for A and B
2. Make it one bracket with the top finishing A and top finishing B getting the bid for each.
We talked for awhile and agreed we would talk more later once I wrapped my head around everything he said.

Friday at noon is the cutoff. We would like to be able to get the schedule out Saturday so that teams have a chance to give them to their kids a week in advance so that all plans can be made on their end. The registration form on our website says a different date, but we have pushed it back to allow teams to get in that are:
Looking for an A/B qualifier
Were in a tournament that didn't have enough teams for their age division
Or... are just now deciding based on player availability.

If you are looking for a great TEAM experience for the end of the season, the folks from Diamond Dreams in Cooperstown will be at our tournament to talk to anyone interested in making the trip.

Our 12U went last season and the competition was great and the experience was unbelievable... we had kids who have never been away from home not ready to leave and come back to Ohio when our week there was done!

I will attempt to post the schedule here, but I do not have the best of luck with things attaching on OFC.
All coaches will be emailed the schedule, it will be posted on our website and I will attempt to post it here.
Have a couple of details with some teams who are coming in that we need to get confirmed before posting anything. We are hoping to be able to post tomorrow evening at the latest....

Edgeoo, you don't have all the facts. We were never IN the tournament. That is why we were always listed as "Inquiring". John was nice enough to extend the deadline and give us the weekend to try, but it didn't work out for us. We wanted to play but you know how it is with Basketball, Volleyball, and College Clinics.

Good Luck to everyone in the tournament. If anyone needs a sub or two, I have some girls that really wanted to play. They will be up there with their younger sisters anyway.

Emmitt22 and I had been back and forth throughout the registration process.
I had listed them as inquiring because they wanted to come, but had to wait and see what took place with everything else... I extended the deadline for them and worked out that it would be easier to schedule them out than schedule them in... no biggie on my end....Had hoped things would work out because we want the young ladies to have a chance to play ball before we go hibernate until May when it gets warm out...

By the way... weather is supposed to be nice this weekend... should be a great time for all!:yahoo:
