I need to get a heartguard for each of my DD. Both weight about 80lbs. We have tried a few and they all seem to be for adults. Can anyone recommend a good resource for them and what size you would recoimmend if you are familiar with sizing.

www.evoshield.com. This heartguard is formed to your daughter's chest. When you first receive the product, you hurriedly take it from the
foil package and place in the pockets of the shirt, your daughter wears it for about a half an hour and then it's done forming to her body. This
heartguard also has two protectors for the kidneys as well. My daughter loves it, has two of them with 3 shirts. They now have a racerback
shirt as well.

Some comments on the Zoombang was that the "shields" were coming off in the wash. With the Evoshield, it's lightweight, you take the shields out when washing the shirt, the shields form to your child's body. It really is a great product and it's not bulky like most heartguards can be. And the shield in the front
covers the front, it's not a small plate, it will cover your child's chest/heart area. The shirt is like a light Underarmour type of material, so it does breathe. Also, they have great customer service, I had ordered the wrong size, they had changed the shirt slightly so the sizes were off, so they sent me like 3 different shirts at different times, no worries about charging me until I returned them, and they paid for me shipping it back to them. Just a real nice small company.

The heartguard shirt. It is silver in color and has both youth and and adult sizes. They run around 25.00 to 40.00 depending who you get it from

Heard the Evoshield is a great product, but also heard complaints from parents when their kids had growth spurts, then the shield was digging into their chest/ribs. A friend recommended the Zoombang and my DD wore it while playing 1st base and was very comfortable for her, easy to wash and dir dry. Didn't have any issues with it. Ended up buying another one for my DD this season. I just bought it a couple weeks ago and noticed they don't come in adult sizes, so will have to look for another product once she outgrows the youth sizes.

EvoShield

I bought one for my pitching daughter. She loves it. Well worth the money spent. No issues moving around in it at all. Hitting was fine, pitching was fine. We used it with out the back panels, just the chest. We'll be getting another one shortly for this year because she grew.
