High School coaches

Please someone explain to me if a coach can communicate with a player regarding who shows up or not before Monday 2/25, I am asking because my DD is a freshmen who pitches and catches on her High School indoor team. There is no communication with her coach and just wonder how other coaches handle this.

Have your dd check the school or athletic bulletins, there should be notices that will announce practice to begin on the date permitted - 2/25.
She could even go up to the coach in school or call-email her coach if he is not on staff to give her general information.

Coaches are not permitted to hold any type of softball practice before the 25th, but they can get the announcement out. Conditioning is permitted, and tryout information can be passed out. Nothing is mandatory until the 25th(for pitchers and catchers, all else 2 weeks later).
