Pretty sure I know the answer ti this question. But I want to put out there in case I am wrong.
My D.D. was asked to play again with the WWAST team. This is a put together "Fundraiser" team that plays in tournaments. Since she is now playing high school ball is she still allowed to play with this "Fundraiser" team. Thank You

OPEN GYMS are nothing more than free participation in a gym....any kid can participate in whatever the kids are choosing to do. NO COACHES are controlling and it is not mandatory, mostly a parent or volunteer is present for the safety of all. Bonding takes place and this is healthy for all who do. No rules are being broken

LIVE LONGER DON'T STRESS

Unfortunately many coaches break these rules and do instruct and push it to be be mandatory!

wadad ... 99% sure that the answer to that is "no" ... she can't play on a non-interscholastic team while playing on a school team. I think the Wounded Warriors team is a great opportunity and for a great cause, but I don't think you can do that and play school ball at the same time.

If you can't act like adults on here, maybe you should step away from the keyboard. I'm getting a little tired of getting notifications that you can't play nice.

Yes, that is my understanding as well. Especially since we have to be ASA and NSA rostered, if we play in a tournament that requires an official roster. It is cool that ASA works with our roster, so as not to impact the players normal ASA team roster, but OHSAA is very strict.
