No problem Len. Anytime. Still getting a chuckle out of that. All I can add is that it could be considered an illegal rudder...

Klump I see your point as well... *pun not intended

Great point! Maybe it caused him to swim in circles......

Shows do not lead to this behavior. It is a combination of factors. Parents, friend, media ect.

Amen to this!

It is different from when we were kids. Not to say it didn't happen, but sexual stuff just wasn't thrown in our faces like it is today. However, we as parents, have to combat this with conversation, and tons and tons of prayer!! We can't stop it unfortunately, we can only hope we instilled a sense of moral values in them. ;)

Most likely your kid is one of the 75% of the students that conduct themselves in a respectful manner at school and you would not find them involved in this activity .
The other 25% of students do not care about the difference between being "outstanding" and "standing out".

Sounds like in this case it was two students that wanted to stand out so, you would not have much luck in embarrassing them.

I need to defend the two kids A LITTLE... They are really great kids from everthing I've seen for 5+ years. I believe this DATING thing is new, as well as the hormones, and maturity required to handle all of that. These kids will be fine...

It was just fascinating that NOBODY(Parents, Adminsitration, Peers) took any action to embarrass them, or at least prod them in the right direction.

EVEN THE BEST KIDS will make bigger mistakes then this. I saw an entire community take it in and not sure anyone really reached out to the kids..... Well NOT IMMEDIATELY. I did send an email to both kids coaches advising they should review the Student/Athelete conduct forms with their kids with a review of what happened, but no names.

It comes down to morals... Kids make mistakes..... they need to be taught what's appropriate and what is not. Strictly up to the parents or parent.. In this case, they made a bad mistake. I'm thinking thirty lashes or so...... or no cell phone for a week....;)
