In light of the recent announcements of some new central Ohio hitting leagues, we feel it is essential to let you know everything that Field of Dreams has to offer for our hitting league participants!

Our hitting leagues will be held during the week, Mondays through Thursdays leaving Saturdays open for our various clinics and instructional camps that we will be offering. Our leagues were a tremendous success last year and our participants realized a noticeable increase in their hitting ability by the end of the leagues, in addition to all of the fun they had competing against their friends. This fall and winter it's going to be EVEN BETTER! At Field of Dreams, not only will the kids have the chance to compete in the league and have fun with their friends, but unlike other facilities our expert instruction staff will be on hand to offer assistance to these kids whenever possible. Why? We are not just providing a cage and a pitching machine. We are providing the opportunity for your son and daughter to become a better hitter. It's that simple. We take their improvement as our primary reason for existence! Stop in just once during any open hitting time & you will see exactly what I mean.
During the leagues, our high scores will be posted on our leader board for all to see. When the league is over, the champions in each age division will be awarded trophies and the team pictures will be posted on our website and Facebook page as well!!

There are many different hitting leagues offered all around Central Ohio. Some have been around for many years. Some are brand new. Choosing your hitting league should be just like choosing the travel team to play for. You should think....what is going to help my child the most? At Field of Dreams, we will give you a lot more than just a few swings and bunts in the cage. We are experienced. We are knowledgeable. We have passion and it shows. We realize that these kids want to have fun, but they are there because they want to improve their hitting. We want the exact same thing for them. That is exactly why we are the only hitting league that will have our expert instructors on hand to help these kids during their league nights!! That's right...we are going to make sure that our instructors are on hand, watching the kids and working with them as much as they can. Each kid is assured to have some time spent with him or her throughout the league. There will be no extra charge for the time they will be spending working with the participants during these times! Also, we have several types of training aids are only available to the instructors at Field of Dreams. In addition to their expert knowledge and experience, they are the only instructors in central Ohio with the ability to record your player's swing on a high quality SUPER SLOW MOTION video with playback using a 32" big screen HD TV to help the individual see for themselves exactly what the instructor is seeing. This isn't recording on an iPhone and playing back half speed on a 3" screen. This is taking swing analysis into the next century! This technology can record at high speeds of up to 1,000 fps (frames per second) that one swing can take as long as 45 seconds to watch in review!!! We typically record swings in the 240 fps speed, not 1,000 fps, because at 240 fps we can record in the highest quality and retain 100% video clarity while still exposing every single little swing flaw. This technology is made available to Field of Dreams customers as a standard offering with any private lesson. Time permitting, we may utilize this with hitting league participants as well! If that wasn't enough reason to choose Field of Dreams for your hitting league, we just purchased the Zepp Labs Swing Analyzer, which is the latest ans most amazing in high tech swing analysis software on the market! Using video game programming technology, this device and software can record over 1,000 data points throughout the player's swing and recreate that into a 3D image via Bluetooth to our iPad. The instructor can show the batter exactly what their swing plane looks like, giving the batter a great idea of exactly how her swing looks. This will also record and measure hand speed, bat speed, time to impact, attack angle and even bat angle. This technology in the hands of our expert instructors will help your young athlete develop to her absolute maximum potential!! Nothing like this exists at ANY indoor facility in Central Ohio except Field of Dreams!!! So, when you are considering registering your child for a hitting league, you should ask yourself what you are getting back out of it. There's an old saying about getting what you pay for.

Future leagues will soon be announced. We will offer machine pitching leagues for 10U, 12U & 14U softball and baseball, and we are also the ONLY indoor facility in Fairfield County offering the Live Pitching Hitting League, which will be offered for 12U & 14U ages! This league is one of the best ways to mimic the real-game situations for your hitters as well as pitchers and catchers. We perfected this league last year and this year it will be even smoother and include improvements to make it smoother and more beneficial for all players.
