Hitting and Hitters Discussion Another round of private hitting lessons with Crystl Bustos!

Crystl will be staying around after the SDS clinic and again offering private lessons. (I think there is a certain SDS coach who owes his DD this time!)

Sports of All Sorts has one again offered the use of their facility for the lessons. The address for the facility is 10138 Transportation Way (45246)

Each lesson will be a private 30 minute lesson. Cost will again be $40.00 for each half hour session.

Lessons will be Monday April 20 thru Thurs April 23 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. PM here or email me at xstitchncrafts@sbcglobal.net to set up a lesson.

Take what you learn at the SDS clinic and build on it while you have the chance to work with the best female hitter in the world. Anyone who has worked with Crystl can tell you that it is a treat to spend some time with her.

Crystl is looking forward to coming back to Ohio and again working with the girls.

There are still some spots open for hitting lessons with Crystl. This would also be a good opportunity for coaches who are teaching this style of hitting to their players.

as I'm learning daily from this web page I've seen plenty of passion towards "hitting models/systems" and well thought out ways to approach hitting-we all have! Knowing that Crystl is unique and possibly one of a kind for years to come, my DD is pumped about spending a 1/2 hour with her. The unfortunate thing is a 1/2 hour isn't enough but for her its a pretty cool experience and will reinforce what she has been taught.

In my career I have been taught to approach designs/problems/failures/issues to get root cause and then apply sound solutions based upon data. By my DD seeing Crystl and asking questions will help her and me continue learning and applying the only system that we know. Now, not knowing "a couple other systems" does hinder me because not all shoes fit every player-I'm well aware of that.

One of my goals as a coach is to learn other ways of hitting and by going other clinics in the coming months I will be able to see some of the other systems discussed on OFC.

BUT for now, how could it be any better than hearing and working directly with the Bonds of Women's Fastpitch? As I said, my DD is pretty excited about it and this is a shot for others to see her too.

Not a problem, like they say 3rd times a charm!

Crystl always enjoys coming to town and working with the girls. We got lucky this time with her offering to stay around for 4 days this time.

BBSBDad-these are private half hour lessons with Crystl. There is a clinic the weekend before in Middletown featuring Caitlin Lowe, Crystl and Howard Carrier. Lessons are Monday April 20 thru Thursday the 23rd. Each half hour lesson is $40.00

As of right now these are the open times still available:
Mon. 4/20
3:00, 3:30, 4:00, 5:30, 8:00 and 8:30

Tues 4/21
3:00, 3:30, and 7:30

Wed 4/22
3:00, 3:30, 4:00, 4:30, 5:00,

Thurs 4/23
3:00, 3:30, 4:00, 4:30, and 8:00

With school ball the older girls are taking the later time slots. If anyone is interested PM or call to reserve the slots.

Marcia and Crystl,

we had 5 or 6 of my 10u's attend and my older DD couldn't due to sickness... bummer. Buuut, all of my girls were pumped and would do this again in a minute. We have lots of video, pictures, and signed memorabilia attached to some girls equipment and huge smiles carrying them. THANKS for the opportunity and we love what you guys are doing for the girls. Thanks to the big guy for showing up and helping out on Wednesday evening as well. What more could you ask for!

We went for a lesson with Crystl this week as well--What a great experience!! I am so glad and feel very fortunate that Crystl likes this area and wants to work with the girls in Ohio!
Hope we can do this again in the future!!!
