For my DD, we do many multi-coach winter camps. And the few top choice schools that have expressed an interest both winter/fall/summer. How does the forum utilize exposure and maximize camps for their daughters? And stay within the family budget? Or should that matter...

Also, do you look for dividends in the colleges you invest in showing up at games? Does that change things? Do you look for combines or games?

Just wondering as the recruiting process has so many opinions.

We went to lots of camps of the colleges she was most interested in and early!! LOTS of camps, lots of player profiles handed to coaches, after the camps!
Then researched to see if there would be a spot for her in four years .
After all that we started narrowing it down by going to camps in the summer and seeing their campuses, plus the fields of study they have to get the right fit.
Getting the coaches to come to games, This takes lots of phone calls and emails. Lots of personal time from your daughter to get them to come. But they will show up (even in OHIO) if she puts in the time in the colleges she Is interested in!
Trying to play in front of coaches will help. But your best money is spent on camps, clinics and showcases the coach of interest is attending so they can see what she has to offer! Plus, your player can get more one on one time to ask questions about spots and where they might fit!! Hope this helps..
GOOD LUCK!
