I believe the 9u's were a returning core from the 8u's (previous season) and they have very good coaching. It is hard to believe but our 2 pitchers (both 8yr olds) pitched entire games. Our catcher (8yr old) who is great she gets down and dirty, drops and blocks balls and throws down to second and is real close to making it! The girls learned alot and had fun doing it! Where we are from Rec ball you cannot even steal home or attempt to steal a base until the ball passes home plate. No drop third strike. How are these girls going to learn the right way playing like that.
