I'm putting a end to all the nonsense!
From day one when I started "Ohio Fastpitch Connection" back in 1994, almost 20 years ago and then added the Forum in 1996.
My mission then and 20 years later has been the same.
The forum was created in 1996 as a informative internet site to share and learn from ongoing discussion on everything in the game of Girls Fastpitch Softball.
We understand, and I agree that we want people to be able to complain about real problem's or your bad experience with tournaments, tryouts, umpires, coaches, vendors and other problems etc. That you run into!
But at the same time we want you to offer up solution for your complaint(s).
It does known good to complain, just to complain only.
Occasionally in the Girls Softball World, not often but some times we have to inform others. About things that have happen that everyone should be made aware of. And when this happens you should only report or post this information with solid proof or when it happened to multiple people teams or organizations.
Examples #1: if you attend a tournament and you felt the umpires were really bad.
You could post in the forum that you had a bad experience with the umpires at "xyz' tournament. And you could ask other members on the forum if they ran into the same problems?
Examples #2: you went to tryouts for team BBB and they left you hanging. With out any notice or call.
The above example is just fine the way you read it.
My point, I'm trying yo make, its OK to post complaints inside the forum. I believe in freedom of speech, I believe you have the right to write down your complaints and post them on TheSoftballZone forum.
But I don't believe you have the rights to attack other or write post inside the forum that can't be back by proof just because your running a smear campaign against a coach, teams, player, sanctioning body, organization or other because you have TheSoftballZone forum as your platform to pull it off.
TheSoftballZone forum should be a place to learn and share information not a play ground.
Part of #TeamTSZ is all about making this forum a positive place to become a student of the game.
My mission has never changed along the way. And I hope the user new and old understand.
Thanks
