ITB in MLB.....ESPN

Purest and history nuts of Major League Baseball would of just died if they saw the discussion on ESPN today about putting the ITB rule in. They discussed how long these extra inning games are going now, the wear and tear on the players. They brought up putting the runner on 2nd base to start the inning to help quicken the game once it goes into extra innings.

Regarding the ITB issue...lets get silly...lets pay the players 'overtime' for any extra innings. ARod could make $19000 per inning additional (assuming that he would play every inning of every game in the season).
