What are your thoughts on ITB ? Should all tournaments have ITB ?

Should it only be in bracket games ?

I noticed that there was ANOTHER tie in Wilmington this weekend already and we had one in the earlier tournament there. I would not think any coach, player, or parent would be happy with a tie. The girls battle too hard to end up that way. You should either win or lose.

If you are happy with ties, maybe you should look into s*ccer ! JMHO

I say, who cares in pool play. If the rules state that a tie ends in a tie, then I'm ok with that. And I hate socker!! Never watched one game of it and never will!! Lol

You practice hard, you play hard...lets have a decision! Celebrate a victory or be gracious in a defeat, but a tie?? Like dating your sister(or brother for you ladies)...YUK!

Tie in pool play - who cares - it's pool play. Score pool play games like hockey 2 pts for a win - 1 point for a tie & 0 pts for a loss. Then the points in pool play will determine bracket seeding.

ITB in bracket games - actually - I say load'em up & really see what a teams defense can do !!

I'm not sure why a tie at a tournament you're not even playing in this weekend bothers you so much, but there seems to be a simple solution for you and/or your organization if it does bother you, and that is not to play there again.

Oh, the irony!! We finished a game in a tie today. The tiebreaker was most runners on base. We lost the tie breaker and and for seeding purposes, the game.
