Jamboree Rule Change ?? You ask for it, now Bat 11 if you wish at the Jamboree.


Keep it simple in 2010 and will keep the rule in place Coaches

You can bat 11 Batters, but remember if you start with 11 Batters you have to end the game with 11 Batters.

If you have a player get injured with - out a Sub to replace the Batter you will take a out when said Batter was due to Bat.


This Rules will be in-place all week-end.. I think it a good idea and will give more players a chance to play..

What about courtesy runners if you bat all 11? Last out or out of luck?

I have been doing fast-pitch tournaments all summer and alot of TD's are letting teams bat there entire line-up DURING POOL-PLAY ONLY . The courtesy runner is the last out unless the last out was pitcher or catcher then you go to next out . Illness or injury results in an out at that point in the batting order . Free substitution on defense . This lets the girls play more . The only catch is if there is a player ejection that results in a game forfeit . I don't know if Ricky has his this way but that is the way the majority of TD's are running theirs .

If your going to stop or call a game because a 10 year old girl get hurt or gets sick, that's obsurd. SKIP THE KID. Go to the next one. Let'm play from an umpire w/20+years. this isn' t the mlb world series. they are not being paid. these are kids. look at the big picture.
