I just heard that Jeanette Howard nee. Berzina (Strongsville head coach) has Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I also hear that there will be some kind of fund raiser. Does anyone have information on this? There is a little blurb in the PD locker room section today about this. Just looking for a little more information.

She was my DD first pitching coach, She is a great lady!

Hello Everyone,



As some of you might know already, this year we are holding a large fundraiser on May 10th, 2008 in order to raise money for Hodgkin?s Lymphoma Foundation. We set a very high goal for ourselves and have come up with many great ideas to raise money that day but I am still looking for more ideas, donations, and help! Attached is a donation letter that can be given to businesses in order to receive a donation of any sort. Please feel free to pass it along to any you know that may be interested in helping us out this year. Also, I will be sending out a flyer about the event in a few weeks. Thanks for all your help and feel free to contact me on my cell phone at the number below.

Jeanette was my dd's first travel coach for the Clevland Wildcats -- She learned alot about the game from her, especially how to play the game with heart and hustle. Jeanette's prognosis is good, her doctors believe they have caught this in the early stages.

Jeanette is great person. She was our daughter?s first pitching coach also. She has taught her a lot about softball in general and has made her the competitor she is today. One of the best softball coaches I've seen. She has a way about her, to get girls to be their best. And, that shows by what she has done for the Strongsville High School team. Knowing Jeanette and her attitude nothing will keep her down. We wish her well, and will be praying for her.
