I have been around this kid for many years, I have never once seen anything bad out of her or her mouth, what I have seen is a great softball player. Congrats Jen.

Off topic: every now and again you can Google search the thread header and get a cached view of what was deleted. Not this time.

I can't see where it ever got deleted. Still on page one from what I can see. I do agree it was an inappropriate post and should be deleted however.

Funny thing though, I try to preach composure to our girls but reading that post took me back to my own playing days. 'Nuff said!

I have watched her many times and never seen that attitude. Even if she did show a bit of an attitude once or twice, that's not the end of the world. It would be far less than I ever did as a player.

......and I thought that Ohio didn't produce any quality players.
Congrats to Jenna, her coaches, her team and her parents.

Looked like by the first three comments from today that maybe something else had been posted. Maybe not, my mistake.

Also have watched her play a few times what a great example of a player dedicated to her craft ,I'm looking forward to watching her win her fourth state title this spring with her teammates The North Canton Hoover Vikings, I 'm sure she will make Ohio proud when she heads off to Oregon to play College ball .

Sounds like Jenna and her teams have beat the Truths team or if he has kids he is just upset they ain't as good as her . And if you are a person of god as you say , then why go and publicly bash a teenage girl? If you don't like her fine , but don't be a jerk . Show some class !!! Keep up the hard work Jenna , and we will see you at my daughters next hitting lesson

Now over 3,000 views and not one person has agreed with you and for good reason. Christian upbringing? I see that worked out well for you. Comical!

3300+ views now and about 35 people disagreeing with you "the truth". I would guess a lot of the views have to do with people's inability to look away from a train wreck. So tell us, why is your name in pink ... just guessing it means you are on probation here? I am Christian as well, and have a very healthy respect for the game ... in what part of your Christian upbringing did you learn that it was OK to trash young people because I guess I missed that somewhere ...

... that was one of the Commandments on the stone tablet that Moses dropped in History Of The World, Part I

Sour grapes? Over what? Apparently, I'm the only one with eyes, ears, a Christian upbringing and a respect for the game. With 1500 views and just over a dozen unique replies praising terrible behavior, I'd say there are a lot of people quietly nodding their heads in agreement with me.

I'm a strong Christian. I try to walk like how one should walk-love, grace, faith, compassion, etc. The last thing I try to be is judgmental. So if she's swore a few times, who hasn't in the heat of battle? I don't swear, and it took years to stop. I have to be extremely angry to get me there. And when I do, I'll be placed in jail for murder because of all of the heart attacks I created. Give the kid a break. My dd looks up to her and dd's a devoted Christian (for her age understanding). I showed her your post and she laughed.

And to think that I always thought that his name was in pink because he supported the ta-ta's. Boy, am I embarrassed.

It amazes me on how many "haters" there are in the softball world in Ohio. Countless times I have heard parents and travel ball coaches make comments that are very demeaning about current players in Ohio that are going on to play major DI ball in the PAC 12, SEC, and Big 10. I believe they are jealous and have a hard time just acknowledging their accomplishments and the only way they find to react is to be negative. Remember we are talking about girls that are 16 to 18 years old. They may not be perfect in your eyes but they are teenagers. They all are very good kids with the athletic ability, focus and determination to succeed at this game we call softball. As my grandmother always said “If you don’t have anything good to say just SHUTUP”.
