Great Article. We have watched Jennie play several times and have enjoyed her over the years. My daughter was sad :(when I told her. But this is what my daughter said: "Dream and Believe" just like Jennie.:cap:

You would be hard pressed to find another person that has changed the game of fastpitch more than J Finch, she gave the game a marketable face, a glamor girl throwing 65mph. I dont think you could count how many girls got in the game because of her influence.

They ( Chicago Bandits ) play the Racers on July 23th-25th.

I know our tournament girls ( Lady Patriots Invitational ) and parents are all going on the 24th. Hope to meet Jenny and thank her for what she done over the years for the game and these girls.

No question, great ambassador for the sport .. but, it is fair to say that Lisa Fernandez, Cindy Bristow and others paved the road and got a lot less attention. Not slamming Finch, she is a world class athlete and a great role model for young women.

I plan on seeing her play in her last event with Team USA tomorrow night. I'm in Oklahoma for business this week, and I saw where Team USA is playing in the KFC World Cup in Oklahoma City starting tomorrow evening. They play Canada at 7:00, and the USA Future Stars play Japan at 9:00.

That worked out nice. Wish I was with you.

I've had to come out here off and on for the past few months, but just missed being able to check out some of the College World Series.

This should be fun though, and hopefully I'll be able to get some decent pictures.
