Kroger Rewards

Anyone been using Kroger Rewards as a fundraiser to offset team fees? If so is the specific amount a family brings in contributed to their account or does it go to a general fund and divided among all?

I guess some organizations and schools have been using it and Kroger gave an itemized list with the payment but has now decided to stoop giving the list so all you can do is put it into the general fund. I guess their is no way of knowing which family brought in how much. I tried emailing Kroger to see if this was the case but they will not respond to repeated emails. Some customer service they have.

Just wondering what the experience is others have had and how they may be changing how they handle it.

Heard they send a list of each person with a Kroger Card that is signed up for your organization and then it is up to the organization to subdivide out which person belongs to each player..

Our school softball team uses the Kroger rewards program. We are able to sign up the players parents and anyone else that is willing to do so. The "reward" money just goes into a general fund for the softball team. We have found that as players graduate and move on from high school, no one removes them selves from the program so it just keeps going and added to. I don't shop Kroger that often because as a retail vendor.. I know how much they are screwing shoppers... as far as I know.. the program did receive a list of donors. Unless your organization is set up as a non-profit or a school team - it does not qualify for rewards...

They use to give you a list of members and what the earnings were. Now they dont release private info so you will get a lump sum to the club. We just dispurse it evenly by the amount of players enrolled.

What percent is Kroger giving nowadays? Back about 8 years ago when we did this with my high school program, I think we were getting 5% of each dollar spent, which was great.

Now they supposedly give $125,000 per quarter...........So it all depends on how many organizations are involved.
With all these new rules & restictions, hoping it is worth it.

Still don't understand why they will no longer tell how much each individual's donation is?????
Not sure how that is so private - Or they could allow you to sign off that it is OK to tell the organization.....Think majority would sign off on that........
