Yes, hitting records will be broken with the 43' pitching distance, but how many other schools in OH have 21 homers right now? I am pretty sure they play against some quality teams, too.

Local Paper lists Keystone with 29. 8 different girls.

What Division is Keystone?

I agree the distance is a huge factor, everybody on yappi is trying to blame the fences...but the 43' is making a big difference everywhere. Still the Lady Leps have one more regular season game left and haven't played a tourney game yet...which all the other records include the tournament. The state record is 31, but DI is Hudson with 24. The team with 31 went all the way to state I believe last year.

Anthony Wayne hit 31 last in the NLL, that is a pitching heavy conference.

Sounds like Keystone is kicking some *** and they do play top teams all year. regardless if D1,2,3,4 you still have to hit the ball and so when Louisville hits there 25th. I wouldn't get to geety about it. Lets see if you get to play passed regionals for the 1ST time in I don't know EVER. Have they ever won districts?

We have to 2 kids with a combined 22 hrs this year. The one has 32 career HRS.

Hey Blue 2, do you know what the State record is for home runs for DII? I think I heard Keystone is just one HR shy of setting a new record....

According to OHSAA records, 31 is the current record, set in 2010. It is not broken down by division.

We've never even won district before. I'm not getting greedy, just discussing it cause its unbelievable how many are going out. I'm not putting Keystone down either cause they are DII, I was just curious to see if they had the DI record, unless the Lady Leps go further in the playoffs they aren't going to catch the state record of 31, DI record is our best chance.
