The Lookouts Fastpitch Organization
We are excited to announce their tryout sessions for the 2022-2023 season. We are continuing to grow as an organization.Mission Statement: The Lookouts Fastpitch organization is dedicated to helping female athletes and their families achieve their softball and life goals by providing extensive support through highly professional training, education, coaching and mentoring.
We are finishing up a solid year as an organization and are building on the growth of the teams. We have very professional coaching staffs with non-parent coaches at the High School levels. Our Lookouts Program Director has created a culture committed to player growth, no nonsense softball and playing the most competitive softball we can at each level.
Our off-season training is second to none. We are proud to say that we believe we are doing more for player development and family support than anyone else in Northeast Ohio. We train at the Kent State Field House & Local indoor facilities in the winter as an organization and will have individual team practices in addition to the program workouts. We have team hitting clinics with Micaela Minner, defensive skills training with Tracee McCoy, and pitching clinics with Mandee Luers. Our professional instructors were all D1 players who give advice and help players with the mental aspect of the game but do not change what is working for players.
In addition, we provide include college recruiting seminars for families and players, Financial Aid seminars for parents, Mental Performance Training for players, and Lookouts coaches are required to participate in coaching seminars to further their own knowledge in support of your daughters. Lastly, we have a dedicated College Recruiting Coordinator to help all families with the recruiting process.
Our Premier teams will play a highly competitive fall schedule. They will also participate in high-level winter camps such as KSU, Akron, YSU, etc. In the summer they play in top tournaments around the Midwest with a focus on college recruiting and showcase events. All players receive extensive indoor winter training to further their development.
We are looking for families and players fully committed to personal growth, skill development, and competition. We are looking for player who will be great teammates and families who support and respect each other and the organization. We expect all players and parents to behave in a professional manner and represent the Lookouts Fastpitch brand in a positive manner at all times.
