I'm convinced that the worse the weather, the more the injuries sustained - especially with the younger kids. And this has been a rotten spring. The cold and dampness results in bad fundamentals and momentary loss of focus that results in injuries. I have witnessed 2 concussions, a broken ankle, and a chipped hip bone this spring. Any injury on a summer team I would consider exceptional, but in the spring nothing is surprising me anymore. Anyone else believe this to be so?
