We will again be hosting the Maple Leaf - East NSA World Series Qualifier. This will be our 11th tournament, after taking a year off while I was overseas in Iraq. Where, they don't play softball!!
There was some confusion last year as we partnered with Doug Moenich to host a Maple Leaf Tournament on the west side of Cleveland (N. Ridgeville) and we are doing so again this year the first weekend in June (That one will be ASA though) and we hope to see you at both!
The tournament will be held the weekend of June 18-19th in the Burton, Ohio area. For those of you who played in this tournament in the past you know we try to get as much playing time in as possible at the most reasonable cost. With economy being what it is, we want you to play as much as possible and this is our focus.
NSA WORLD SERIES QUALIFIER
June 18 - 19th, 2011
MINIMUM OF 5 GAMES* - Cost ONLY $360
?Weather Permitting and number of entries in each age group.
1. Age Divisions: 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U
2. Limited Entry Slots ? Maximum of 60 teams will be accepted and depending on sign-up we may limit any age group to eight. After taking a year off, we anticipate this tournament, as it has in the past, will fill quickly. We also recognize it is difficult to collect money early and will accept payments.
3. The Maple Leaf tournament sets up the following guidelines: * Weather Permitting
80 Minute Games * No tie games, even in Pool play, no one likes ties!*
NSA Umpires will be encouraged to keep games moving.
No time limit for Semi-final and final games.*
Awards to first and second place.
Concessions available at all fields.
