Complete details can be found on the Parks web site at www.rivershoresports.com ? Scroll down to the middle of the page to the YOUTH link and follow links from there that can be found on the right side of the page. Below is most of the information regarding Fall Ball.
Help me fill the park so we don't lose it to baseball!!!

What it's all about!
Fall softball is an opportunity for either individual players or teams to get additional games in before ?ole man winter hits. ?The league was started over ten years ago to allow girls the opportunity to play and "Have Fun? along with working on their skills for their primary position, or to learn a new position without the pressure of having to win. ?In addition, there are no scheduled practices throughout the week for the Individual Sign-Up Division.

When
The league starts on Saturday, September 8th and Sunday, September 9th and will run until mid to late October. ?(The weekend of September 22nd & 23rd will not be scheduled as the final tournament of the season is scheduled - The Queen City ?Diamond Dry? Fastpitch Classic.)
The league offers a five-week - 10 game schedule, which ends on or about the third or fourth weekend of October ? weather permitting. ?If weather permits, we may play up to 6 weeks / 12 games.

Where
Fall ball will be played at Rivershore Sports Complex* ?*RiverShore Park is located in Hebron, KY ? one exit west of the airport. ?Specific directions are posted on the parks web site. ?Rivershore is a very fastpitch friendly park ? with enclosed dugouts, covered areas for parent / fan protection from foul balls! ?

Registration
To register as an Individual player follow this link - http://www.rivershoresports.com/Youth/FallBall/OnlineIndRegForm.htm
To register your team follow this link - http://www.rivershoresports.com/Youth/FallBall/TeamReg-Fall.htm

Registration Deadline - ?August 17th, 2007.
Ages Offered
All age divisions will be offered, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & 18U for both individual sign-ups and teams divisions. ?A Player may play in both divisions (Team & Individual) if they choose. ?Every attempt will be made to play Team and Individual games at opposite times.

Cost
Individual Sign-Up - $65 per player
Everyone that signs up through the Individual Sign-Up Division ? Plays! ?
There are no tryouts for this division. ?
Girls are drafted onto teams based upon their position of play, their school attending and sometimes their ?car-pool? requests.
Girls that sign-up through this division can be from beginners to advanced skills.
Remember this is about having fun, and playing the game you want to get better at!

Team Sign-Up - $150 per team (plus umpire fees of $30 per game / per team or $40 for one umpire)
Complete teams may register for this division. ?
These teams may not be comprised of more than four players from the same high school (who have played softball for that school during the 2007/08 academic season.) ?In the 14U division, the girls that are going to be freshman do not count in the four unless their middle school has a softball team that participates under the guidelines of the Ohio High School Athletic Association.

*The Fall League administrator makes every effort to watch the team make-up in order to protect the player?s high school eligibility. ?However, it is ultimately the Fall Ball Coaches responsibility to ensure that each athlete?s High School eligibility is protected!

Park Expense
Since the Fall Ball program has moved to a better facility, adults will be required to pay the park ?gate fee? of $2 per person. ?With the move and betterment of our program, we are ensured a better playing opportunity with the park staffed with a full ground crew to maintain the fields and provide a clean wholesome environment for our teams and families.

Game Schedules
All game schedules will be posted on this web site the week prior to the start of the league
Individual Sign-Up players - Who are between the ages of 7 ? 12 / 13 will play on Saturday?s (unless the 14 year old requests to play on Sunday or is going to be a high school freshman.)
Who are between the ages of 14 ? 18 will play on Sundays.
?Teams? in the 10U, 12U & possibly 14U (typically your 12U from the 2007 season moving up next year) will play on Saturdays.
Teams in the 14U, 16U & 18U Division will play on Sundays.

Inclement Weather
In the event there is inclement weather and games for a day / weekend must be cancelled, every effort will be made to ?make-up? those games. ?League Director reserves the right to shorten games in the event of inclement weather in order to allow all teams the chance to play.

Refunds
Refunds will not be made unless a player is injured and can no longer play. ?

End of the Season Party
End-of-the-Season party! ?Teams bring a covered dish for the picnic. ?The league provides the meats, (hamburger, hot dogs, metts & brats), buns and eating utensils/paper plates. ?In addition, there are games scheduled for the girls such as tug-o-war, parents against players? softball game, kick-ball and Whiffle ball games.
Information is passed out a couple of weeks prior to the end of the season with specific information along with specific types of covered dishes your team will need to bring.

Volunteers Needed
The Fall program is in need of Adults and High School players to volunteer to coach the younger age divisions and the Individual Registration teams. ?If your daugher is signed up to play and you volunteer to coach - she plays for Free! ?High School Players: The league has offered 'community service hours' to any high school 'ball player' in need of community service hours for school - to coach a young team - 10U's. ? Bring a friend or two and give back to the youth that look up to you as their role models!
