10U,12U,14U,& 16U age brackets

There will be a 4 game-guarantee, weather permitting. The preferred format will be 2 pool games into a double-elimination bracket. **Please note that games may begin as early as 1 PM on Friday June 28**

There will be Class A & B World-Series berths for the top 3 non-qualified teams. The berths can pass down if team is already qualified for the World-Series. Teams may turn in their entry information for the World-Series at this event.

Individual and team awards for the top 3 finishers in each age group. There is also State Champions patches for the winning team in each age group along with all-tournament teams and MVP awards.

Ohio Glory 02' should be on list we switched from State B in lancaster.

Have Larry Patterson or Don Holbrook contact me please so we don't keep playing musical tournaments. E-mail from this team awhile back that said to move them from this event to the Lancaster Class "B" event. We don't want to draw the Lancaster one in a week or so and find out this team was supposed to be there as opposed to Cincinnati. Thanks.

Here is what was just e-mailed to the coaches about 15-20 minutes ago:

Brackets have been posted for: NSA A/B SOUTHERN FP STATE – CINCINNATI, OH.

Please make sure to READ the IMPORTANT information on the bracket pages. If you have not already done so, it is time to make sure your paperwork is in order. You will also find important information to review regarding the tournament along with Directions or an address for the complexes. Please feel free to forward this email to any player or parent you have email for. Also if you do find a mistake, please be kind and e-mail so we can correct it. We just want to get it right and mistakes can occasionally happen.

If you are planning on going on to the NSA World Series, Friday June 5 is the deadline for the entry form, payment, final roster, and insurance to be turned into my office. Please put your items in a folder or envelope. If I am not in the office when you check in, you can also leave it with Steve Frederick who is the Cincy NSA Metro director. Please contact me if you are not sure of what is needed or if you need additional information on the World Series.

The recently posted brackets do not always show up on all computers right away. Please try to “refresh” your page or check back again in a short time if it is there to view. REMINDER: Coach/Manager MUST CHECK in Prior to your first GAME with Official NSA Online Roster and Insurance Certificate. Please bring a copy of Roster & Insurance FOR EVERY NSA TOURNAMENT YOU PARTICIPATE IN, to leave with the Tournament Director. Check in will be at the tournament office on the left side of the restaurant entrance.

ROSTER: PLEASE FILL OUT THE NSA ONLINE ROSTER IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO.
All teams MUST have an Official NSA ONLINE roster, filled out, and printed with player and parents signatures. BRING A SIGNED COPY TO LEAVE AT TOURNAMENT SITE. THIS COPY of the SIGNED ONLINE ROSTER WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO YOU. Teams will not be allowed to participate without it.

INSURANCE: All teams must have "TEAM INSURANCE CERTIFICATE" with amounts of coverage. BRING A COPY TO LEAVE AT TOURNAMENT SITE. We cannot accept the individual player insurance cards. IF you have individual insurance cards, you will need to contact the insurance company to attain a certificate.
THE COPY of the INSURANCE CERTIFICATE WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO YOU. Teams will not be allowed to participate with it.

BATS: Only NSA approved bats will be allowed. Check the National Web site for a complete and up to date listing of approved equipment. www.playnsa.com Click on: Approved Equipment - Please check bats by Manufacturer - Model NUMBER and NAME, if a bat is not posted on the approved list, it will NOT be allowed. Note: It is the coaches/players' responsibility to check their bat(s) to the list prior to bringing them into play. Penalty: Player is declared an OUT - PLAYER AND COACH are EJECTED FROM THE GAME. You may contact the manufacturer to inquire on the status of an unlisted bat.

It is the coach/managers responsibility to know the rules and bylaws of NSA.
NO METAL CLEATS for 10u & 12u teams. River City Sports Complex does allow metal cleats for the older girls. Ignorance of a rule or bylaw does not negate the penalty. NSA rule book is available online 24/7 at www.playnsa.com.
Weather update information during the event will be provided by the tournament director. Call 513-231-8100 after 11 AM – FRIDAY AND 6 AM –SAT/SUN if inclement weather could be an issue.

Gate fees or admission fees will be charged at this tournament. $4 per day or a $10 weekend pass is available. All girls in uniform and up to 3 coaches will be in free of charge. Please make your parents and fans aware of this so there is no embarrassment at the gate. This is River City Sports Complex policy. Check with the gate for what food and beverage items can be brought inside the complex since this is a private park.
