Miken Icon / Rain

Looking for any insights into the Miken Icon and Rain. Will be going with 33 23. DD has been using a Mayhem for the past couple years and has had good success but it's time for a new one.

My dd got to try out a brand new Rain last year in Columbus. She loved it, hit very well with it!! I really thought that was the bat she would end up with this year but we ended up buying the CF4

I'm wondering the same thing. My DD has a Vendetta but not a lot of pop and not really happy with it. I was looking at the Rain but then read about the Halo. Can't make up my mind on either one.

You cannot go wrong with anything Miken.
They were the first to produce carbon fiber tech. and still produces the best performance and durability.

Look into the Epic if she is swinging a 33" bat.

DD had the halo light for 2 years then it broke. Had some pop. Just bought a rain and it seems to have pop as well. We'll find out soon.

I'd say we have 40-50 Miken's in bat bags in our organization... all have been really good for pop and durability. I've seen girls swing Halo, Halo Light, Rain, and Icons... not sure I see a difference other the "color"... all have great pop.

My daughter uses the Rain and really likes it, it does have good pop and a few of the girls on her team like using her bat as well. She swings the 33/21. I got it on ebay and saved a ton. Just a thought

Just bought my DD a Miken Rain light at SPC sports in Mentor for $189.00, they also have the 2010 Halo light for $169.00 which are both really good prices. FYI, if you use promo code Lasers10 you get an additional 10% off which will save another 15-20 dollars.

We bought the Rain Lite 32/20...it has great pop with only about 300 cage swings and 100 live swings. can't wait until it breaks in!!

Is there any place in the Cleveland area where dd can try the bat before buying it. Bought her a Synergy Crystal last year and she won't even take it out of her bag. I think her TPS may be giving out on her. She swings a 32-22 and I know she has to have more pop than she has been showing. She has been driving the ball but it just doesn't seem to be jumping off her bat like it used to.
