ASA Tournament MVX - Bat Busters Invitational

The Miami Valley Xpress - 16U team is hosting the Bat Busters Invitational at Rivershore Sports Complex!
Dates: May 2-3, 2008
Entry Fee: $300 for a four game guarantee (weather permitting.) ?
Game format is based upon the number of teams registered in each age division and classification. ?Pool play, pool play into bracket.
There is a limit of 24 teams in any event so we don't have to use other facilities.

Rivershore is offering youth teams an incentive package for events this year. ?Each tournament's base entry fee is $300 except either of the two Slugger Fest events which are $330 (10U, 12U & 14U) and $350 (16U & 18U.)
? ?Register for one event - pay the actual cost
? ?Register for two events and deduct $25 from each event.
? ?Register for three events and deduct $50 from each event fee.
? ?Register for four events and deduct $75 from each event fee.

How long after a team sends in their information will it be before they find out if they are accepted for this invitational? Also could you list the cut off date for the information to be sent? Is this going to be based on the teams success last year or will there be other things considered in choosing which teams will be allowed to enter?

The Bat Buster is an invitational - first come - first serve basis. If I haven't responded or put your team on the web site I apologize and will be playing catch-up this evening and in the morning.

Word is there will be a hitting clinic given by Howard Carrier, during the tournament, sign up early to reserve your spot

There will be a hitting clinic at this tournament given by Howard Carrier, the time is from 9am till 1 pm the day of the tournament. The cost per individual student is $30.00 for teams that have signed up to play in the tournament and $50.00 for individuals that are not in teams that just want to learn from one of the best, A great price for the amount of instruction time , so Teams and individuals sign up now to reserve your spot!!!!!!
