Need to find good U12 or U14 tournament to WATCH with my team!

I am a coach looking for a good tournament this weekend or next week to take my U10 team to watch. They need inspiration/motivation and I think this would be great for that. We are located on the East side of cleveland and I will travel for a tournament (but not for hours with this many girls ; )

Anything out there?

I'd have to second the recommendation to attend Stingrays. Your team would have the opportunity to see some top-notch softball.

For obvious reasons I would suggest a quick road trip down I-71 to Columbus and take in the Stingrays Tournament - awesome competition. Afterwards take the kids down to German Village for a cream puff at Schmitts. My team still talks about that place!!!

We went to the Explosive Fastpitch Fireworks Frenzy tonight and saw two games I am already blanking on the team names but remember the jersey colors- they were 16U-- one a purple team against a white team (I think white was an Explosive Fastpicth team) and when that was done we watched the rest of a grey team vs. a black team.

Great softball and a great time! Talked to some nice parents too!

Awesome way for the girls to get together and see some good softball we took our Rec team to see the game in Ashland a couple of weeks ago to see the National team. I was impressed with how most of the girls watched intently.

Orrville Fire in the Sky July 5-8 is a great one to watch!! It has some of the best 14u teams in the state, a festival and fireworks. I would recommend coming to watch this one to any younger team considering the travel ball jump.

Although last time I was there, my dd won a rabbit at one of the games and I had to carry around a stinking rabbit all day. Here's a tip, save the festival games for after the softball games.....you never know what they are going to win and YOU will be the one carrying it!!

FWIW --the U comes after the age in fastpitch, in sokker the u comes before the age -- hence , please have a blast watching some 14u,or 16u or 18u ball this weekend . MD

A rabbit?? My husband would freak out! We already have two of them - one we got while he was groggy from anesthesia after having a colonoscopy ; ) - a third would put him over the edge!
Sounds like a fun one though- we could stop at snickers and shop too!
