As long they get same respect Florida gave them last year I'll be happy. ?;D ? ?

?
For the record I don't respect any natl' champion until they play it out on the field. ? It's not so much an anti OSU or big ten thing as it is a anti BCS thing. ?The whole thing is a joke.
Champions should be determined on the field. ?Not with a poll. ? EXCEPT maybe if you are a buckeye nut hugger and are happy just backing in because everyone else lost. ?. ? ;D  :-? :-[ ? ?MD

.................OR did everyone else BACK OUT by losing ? ;D.............

BigConference paydayS...............It'll never go away as long as the $$$$$$ keep getting pumped into the Big Conferences.

Nut Hugger???? :-? I've carried a Buckeye nut in my pocket and rubbed it for good luck, but I have NEVER seen anyone Hug their nut.........

Heres my Question How in the @#$^ did HAWAII get there???? I think putting them in will be a good win for the other team!!!! Thats just crazy. I never even heard of COLE whats his name. I will say that I am a big OSU fan but I do believe they have got a pretty good war to fight on the 7th. As far as the 12u BCS poll here is my vote MIAMI VALLEY VIPERS 12u ;D

Not smart enough to provide the link, but I am smart enough to read a real newspaper. The New York Times from Sunday Dec. 2 had two very good solutions for the BCS. Either one would be better than the system we have now....And I am a Buckeye Fan...I would almost have to give the Championship to Illinois if "The Ohio State University" would win against LSU.

Well if it was in the New York Times it must be the Cadillac of all solutions. What a great idea to give Illinois the National Championship if Ohio State should win. Then Illinois could give a third each to Iowa ,Michigan and Missouri. Then those three teams could divide thier third equaly amoung each team that they lost to and those teams in turn could do the same. By the time everyone gets done dividing between the teams they lost to we would have a true National Champion.

Funny thing is I think people in New York say The Columbus Dispatch is a real newspaper. Must be a territorial status thing

Yeah a playoff system sounds great ? Maybe start with 64 teams than down to a final four. ?do it over 18 mths cuz thats how long it would take. ?Of course #65 wouldnt care about not getting in right? ? And most playoffs always have the best team winning it all right? ?Dallas mavs really werent that good last year. ?No such ?thing as a cinderalla team ever happened. ?Lasers never lose. ?National Champs are not often the best team ..........it is ALWAYS the team that won though......I say give Appalachia State a chance

Im not so sure OSU backed in they came off tough loss and won game in hostile stadium to win there way in. Sounds like some anti OSU fans are full of sour grapes ::)

At the very least can't everybody just admit that there is no clear number one this year for whatever reason. There is no playoff system, and the college administrations are seemingly not at all intereted in a playoff system. The Big Ten gets trashed for not having a conference championship but nobody says a word about the Pac Ten. As all of you do, I've listened to commentators all year tout so many different teams when they were near the top. Not only did those teams lose, that flat out disappeared. California, Oregon, South Florida, Louisville, .Kentucky,.....and so on. Ohio State gets ripped for losing by a TD to Illinois but USC loses to Stanford and LSU loses to unranked Arkansas. West Virginia gags again as they do almost every year,..talk about a media darling!! Was Illinois 4 -7 when they beat Ohio State,...no I don't think so. Here's a great idea, maybe the NCAA can at least figure out how to have all the teams finish on the same weekend so nobody can be accused of backing in by not playing. Is that really impossible to do. $$$$$$$$$
Go Bucks and just WIN. If the Bucks WIN, maybe just a few people will shut up in the media. If they get hammered, the Big Ten and the Bucks will just have to take the abuse they are going to hear.

They can bash OSU all they want, all it matters is 3 out of 5 years buckeyes are playing for the Ring. Can someone tell me what OSU record is during Tressels tenure at the Bowl games? Keep crying for the change but until they come up with another system I'm going to enjoy the BCS.  ;D

This earily similar to 2002. OSU was 14 points dog to Miami and everybody said that was too low. OSU didn't belong, they got lucky all year, etc. I hope the outcome is similar too.

I'm starting to favor the BCS. I have seen the light. It favors power teams out of weak conferences. If the BIG10 remains weak, OSU will have a great chance year after year. They play USC next year and that game won't matter because they play them early. They could lose that game and go 11-1 and be in great shape for a 3peat.

The same way Appy state won in that hostile stadium . Winning their way in by beating a below average unranked Michigan team ???? thats as funny as being undefeated in regulation play !!!! MD

Some have seemed to have forgotten facts presented not to long ago. Big Ten Teams versus SEC. I'll throw a little reminder out here Last year in Bowl games Big Ten 2 SEC 1 , Last 5 years in Bowl games Big Ten 8 SEC 5, Overall BCS Bowls Big Ten 15 SEC 13 ,Heisman Trophy winners last 15 years Big Ten 5 SEC 1. Sorry MD BCS without the C just doesn't cut in the real world

National championship or Rose Bowl in a REBUILDING year? Who wouldn't take either one? Oh, the SEC teams because they should always be #1 no more matter how often they get beat. Tressel rocks.

I see you took the bait again. Yes we are all in agreement that it is all MD BS and we will stick to the facts concerning Big Ten and SEC conferences on a head to head basis. Thank you for agreeing
