To Softball coaches of all levels...

The NFCA will be in Chicago in late-November, December and January.

I would like to encourage you to attend one of the upcoming NFCA Coaching Clinics and the NFCA Convention. This is a great way to increase your knowledge of the game, stay up to date on new methods and strategies, make new coaching contacts, pick the brains of successful college coaches, and have fun doing it. It doesn't matter whether you are a brand new coach or have been coaching for over 30 years like I have, I promise you will walk away with ideas on how to improve teaching the game.

GOING TO ONE OF THESE EVENTS IS WELL WORTH THE TIME AND MONEY!
You will walk away inspired. Take a friend.

I highly recommend the courses and the convention is like Christmas to softball enthusiasts. Being held in Chicago this year gives many from Ohio an opportunity to be a part of the experience.

I will be there, already registered.

It would be interesting to see how many Travel Ball coaches/organizations from coaches from Ohio attend.

A lot seem to like to talk about Game/Softball IQ but many do not seek ways to grow or want PD. I liked the networking that came from these events and most of the organizations that have good college coach connections gained them from events like this. Daboss you are right about it being Christmas to those passionate about coaching.

The in-depth NFCA courses (referred to as the NFCC - National Fastpitch Coaches College courses) are second to none. They are extremely thorough and taught by some the nation's best college coaches.

I also was very impressed by the coaches clinics the NFCA put on in various venues around the country last year.

The Convention is great for networking and typically have some good talks. But if you are looking to learn some new tricks of the trade, the NFCA courses and clinics are totally worth the time and money.
