Nice to get back on the field :)

As some of you know, I have coached for many years, but gave up high school ball in 2008 when my daughter went off to play in college, and then coached travel ball with her up till 2013. Anyhow, she and I are coaching her old high school team in the Cleveland State winter league and we played our first couple of games this past Sunday. The team we are coaching is blessed with a lot of speed, and I was coaching 3B and just had a blast! I was a shade rusty and made one mistake in the first inning of the first game, but the rest of the time went very well ... it was just really nice to get back on the field!!

Can't wait to see some high school and college games in the spring!

Jeff I am totally jealous. I was set to start my HS varsity coaching career with some pre-contract coaching at CSU this past Sunday. Needless to say that things are not going to work out and I guess I will have to wait a little longer. LoL

Where is that league being played at? I think a long ago, it was in a field house at a very fancy school, Hawken? maybe. Just curious.
