The Norse are currently 3-1 at the Charger Chillout in Decatur, Alabama. They are hitting .290 as a team...not bad considering they have been couped up in Regents Hall as their only means of practice. Sunday they face #4 Barry and West Georgia. Good luck ladies and keep up the great play!

The forecast for Decatur today is 41 and sunny. The normal high temperature is 57 degrees. Where the heck is Global Warming when you need it? Keep those bats, gloves, and arms warm and play hard ladies!

I'm thrilled to hear they are beating those warmer-weather schools. From what I remember, those all were pretty tough teams down there at that Tourney. Here's to hoping the Lady Norse put together a winning season!

DD says that while they don't have to worry about the UV, the windburn is almost as bad. I was hoping to be down there watching some ball this weekend, but couldn't get out of the office so I've been making due with the "live stats" play by play. Thrilling 7th inning last night, but there have been a couple of injuries on the trip - hopefully they're minor and the girls will be back in the lineup soon.
