NSA and metal Cleats?

My understanding was that NSA allowed metal spikes at the 16U level and up this season. I think same as USSSA, but ASA was not alllowing them. Today at NSA tourney was told there is no age descrimination with metal spikes?? " NSA is NSA, age does not matter" So I guess 10 U's in NSA can wear metal. maybe so, but I just want a clarification on this please..
