Last year we were told that in NSA a courtesy runner could only be the last out or a girl that had not entered into the game yet. Looking in the rule book this year I saw section 5c that says a player substituted for in the game may not participate in the game except as a coach or a courtesy runner. The way I am looking at this it seems that as long as a player is not in the lineup at the time you need her to courtesy run she should be allowed. Or am I missing something.
