Ohio Classics 2017-18 Tryout Schedule for all Teams

The Ohio Classics will be having a team in each age group 10U-16U for the 2018 summer season. The teams will also play a 2017 Fall schedule. Each team will be holding their own tryouts and will attend an organization wide tryout on either August 12th or August 13th at Pickerington Central HS, 300 Opportunity Way, Pickerington. To register for a tryout please contact the appropriate coach.

The Ohio Classics is a highly competitive club team that plays in the top level tournaments in the midwest. Our teams play in national qualifiers throughout the summer season with the goal of qualifying and attending a national tournament at the end of each summer. Our older teams are all college showcase/preparation teams.

If you are interesting in trying out for a team be prepared to play throughout the fall and summer at high level tournaments with some degree of travel required.

Ohio Classics '02, (15u) is looking for one high level catcher to complete our roster. We will be holding a private tryout on Friday, August 4th in Dalton, Ohio.

THIS WILL LIKELY BE OUR ONLY TRYOUT FOR THE 2018 TEAM!

The 2018 Classics '02, (15U), team is full, we are cancelling our tryout in Pickerington on 8/13.

There have been several questions about our 23U team for 2018. This past year we fielded two 23U teams and they were very successful winning the All-Sanctions and Beavercreek Summer Finale tournaments and also garnered second place at the All-Sanctions. Monica Mix will return to coach the Purple team and we will see if we have enough interest for a second team again. Both teams were extremely competitive

This is a great opportunity to keep your skill levels up over the summer while having a blast doing it. We play six to seven games a weekend and only on Saturday and Sunday. Many days games don't start until noon or later. It is also very economical to play.

HE is a non parent coach that has an extensive network of contacts with college coaches and a long history of coaching excellence with the Classics. HE has assembled a strong core of players and is in need of two-three more to round out his roster.

This team is targeted for current collegiate players with solid results on their respective team. Last year we ran two teams who played in three tournaments through out the summer. We charge $50 for uniforms and $50 per weekend you can play The teams recorded a record of 26-10 and captured the All-Sanctions tournament and the Beavercreek tournament the last weekend of July. WE also captured second place at the All-Sanctions tournament. This is a great opportunity to get some live at bats and good fielding reps as well as having a great time.
