The Ohio Sapphires 16u is looking for a Middle IF(SS)/Utility to complete our roster. We have a motivated group of young ladies and will again be playing a mostly showcase schedule. Last year's schedule included the Dayton Metro, Sheer Madness Showcase, ASA States, Gapps Showcase and PGF Premier Showcase. This winter, we will be attending the Akron U Team Camp, practicing indoors at the Spano Dome and a conducting weekly hitting. The Team is coached by Dave Donaldson 12yrs of travel ball coaching returning for 7th year with Ohio Sapphires, My assistants are Beth Mather former HS State Champion, Summit Softball Hall of fame inductee and Amanda Doppelheuer, former College player who coached at the travel level as well. In addition, we use every resource available to us and from Current/Former College players to Instructors such as defensive Kobata guru Bob Hoiles to help train/instruct our girls.
