[FONT=&amp]"We're thrilled to be able to bring a professional team to Columbus and add to an already fantastic event," said head coach Kelly Kovach Schoenly. "The softball community in central Ohio has always been extremely supportive of all that we do and I know this year will be no different. It will be a great opportunity for our fans to see top caliber competition and for us to test ourselves against some of the sports premier players."

The organization won NFP titles in 2013 and 2014 and have played in the championship series in each of the last four years. Admission to the Ohio State-USSSA Pride game will consist of a $10 donation to the Stefanie Spielman Fund.

The event, which the Buckeyes have hosted since the 2001 campaign, has become one of the largest fundraisers for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in central Ohio.

[FONT=&amp]A total of 21 teams will represent Ohio in an event that has raised over $200,000 in the past 15 years for the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research. Of the 21 teams, 14 of them will be representing Ohio from schools, including: Ohio State, Bowling Green, Ashland, Otterbein, Dayton, Miami (Ohio), Ohio, Wright State, Rio Grande, Ohio Dominican, Toledo, Walsh, Oberlin and Ohio Valley.
