Below is from another thread that I thought would fit well here. This is the Stingrays Gold Taminini team based out of Florida and are looking for girls from that what to compete on the national level (I hope I got that right Mark).

Our coaches all receive a monthly fee in season and have all their expenses covered. That includes coaching gear and clothing. Our teams - 2 now and a 3rd this fall - have the ability to do fundraisers to offset all costs. That said the team fees per season depends on the team itself. I can tell you that until last year my particular team did three fundraisers a year and raised 13-15k. That pays for a good portion of the teams fees. Like we always say there are ways to afford a lot of softball stuff if you really want it.

Stingrays 01 moves up to 14u next year. Our top priority right now is finishing the season strong at GAPSS and ASA/USA Nationals in Bloomington, IN. We will be talking to our current players and parents over the coming weeks regarding plans for next season so it is a little early to say for sure what we will be looking for at tryouts.

In the meantime if anyone has questions about our team, our program, and / or our plans for next season I can be reached at 614-778-2629 or email tgunter@echo24.com. I will be happy to answer most of your questions and look forward to seeing everyone at tryouts!

Thank you, Tony Gunter - Head Coach

Do you know what the needs are for your 2000 14u team? Do your teams have non-parent coaches?
