Ohio Storm 06 will be based out of Mount Vernon Ohio and will be the location for Spring, Summer, and indoor Winter Practices. We will practice 3/4 times a month for 2-3 hrs each during the spring and winter and will adjust the summer practice schedule based on tournament schedule. We are will be playing in 3 Fall, 2 Winter, and 10 Spring and Summer tournaments in 2017/2018. We will be playing a highly competitive schedule in Ohio and an ultimate goal to qualify for ASA Eastern Nationals and USSSA Nationals.

I am looking for versatile, hardworking, and dedicated young ladies that are interested in challenging themselves to compete at the highest level. We will work as hard as we can to help our young athletes grow on and off the diamond. The Storm organization prides itself on teaching the fundamentals of softball and creating a family environment. Our goal is to provide a group of young women an opportunity to play high level softball against the strongest competition, meanwhile teaching core fundamentals and developing skills that will help them as they move up into older age groups and in life.

Player/Parent Expectations
-Work outside team organized practices. Athletes ultimate success will be a result of individual hard work and dedication. Hitting lessons, Pitcher and Catcher - Individual Lessons, etc.
- Understand that we all have the same goal in mind
- Increase game knowledge and softball IQ
- Understand "team?, what it stands for, how I can be a part of the big picture or destroy the team.
- Be an athlete. I encourage playing other sports, but April - July is softball season. Will work around schedules, but need to attend organized team practices on a regular basis.
- Maintain a love for the game

Coach/Organization Expectations
- Play a highly competitive schedule
- Develop and expand softball fundamentals and IQ
- Push players to their fullest potential
- Coordinate/assist Player Development - specialized coaches, camps, clinics, etc.
- Maintain a love for the game
