The IFA Region 10 Championships for 12u teams will be played in Arcanum, Ohio on July 17th through 19th.
Region 10 is teams from: Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois and New York.
The entry fee is $375.00 with a 5 game guarentee (*weather permitting).

There will be an IFA National Qualifier scheduled for Heisler Park in Goshen, Ohio for June 19-21st. It is a 5 game guarentee (*weather permitting) three round robin and double eliminations. Entry fee is $75.00 and then pay $35.00 at the plate per team to the umpires.
This is for 10u, 12u, 16u and 18u teams. Go to www.ifasoftball.com to see where the Nationals are to be played.

Please note we are changing the cost of the event to help the teams.
It is a five game guarentee event.... three pool play and then a double elimination tournament (*weather permitting).
The cost is now $75.00 per team and pay the umpire $35.00 at the plate each team.
So let's say, you play five and go home... you got $35 x 5 = 175.00 plus the $75 plus the new $10 sanction fee... you have $260.00 invested into the tournament AND played 5 games.
We held an event last Fall in Goshen with this theory and the teams liked it. This way if there is a rainout of part of the tournament... you don't have to worry about your money.. because if you didn't play... you didn't spend it.
So please take notice of the new entry fees for this event.

Starting to hear from the Kentucky teams and we have a new director in Indiana as well.
This could be a good one. Had two calls from Virginia as well. I have this listed in 10 states (my region) on www.eteamz.com

IFA Ohio is holding rec tournaments for Region 10 in the month of July, 2009.
Region 10 covers: Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Michigan and New York. The tournaments are posted on www.eteamz.com as well.
They are listed in the IFA section of the OFC. The 2009 Region 10 Championships are all in Ohio this coming year. 18u teams are calling from all over about this event. let you rec league officials know about our TRUE rec events.
Rec qualifications for playing in these events are that you come from a rec league within your own community. Teams who had tryouts are not consider Rec "C"

Please note that there will be a 4th of July weekend tournament in Marion, Ohio to coincide with the Rec State Tournament already scheduled there.
It is a 10u, 12u and 14u event elite travel tournament.

Sanctioning fee is $10.00 per team.
Rosters can be printed by going to www.ifaoklahoma.com and downloading a roster form.
Send the roster and $10.00 dollar sanctioning fee to : Tim Cleaver, 1534 W. Meadowbrook Drive, Loveland, Ohio 45140.
*** Teams in the 10u, 12u and 14u divisions must play in three IFA events to get an at Large berth to the Nationals. In the 16u and 18u division, team must play in two IFA events to get an "at large berth" to the IFA Nationals.
*** All teams that played in any NAFA event I held in the Fall, can use that tournament as one (1) of their dates to fulfill their three (3) tournament requirement for at large berths.
*** Teams winning berths will be placed in the "A" division and teams winning "at large" berths will play in the "B" division.
