To all,
I regret to inform the fact we just lost another 14U team. Therefore in fairness to the Ohio Lady Lasers and Poland Pride we are suspending the 14U portion of tournament. I hope we left enough time for they to find replacement tourney. I will leave it open if late responses but as of now there will be no 14U games.

We also lost a 12U team due to conflict. We will hold both the 12 and 10 tournament as scheduled. If anybody interested in joining please get hold of me. We can take up to 30 teams.

14U
1.Poland Pride
2. Ohio Lady Lasers 97 Orange

12U
1. Poland Pride
2. Kinzua Crush
3. Springfield Streak
4. Silver Creek Stars (Pezzuolo)
5.Grand Slam Fastpitch
6. Ohio Jaguars 99
7. Thunder Elite (Green)
8. Diamond Dogs (Cox)
9. Diamond Dogs (Kusmits)
10. Lady Spartans
11. Cyclones

10U
1. Poland Pride
2. Ohio Ice
3. All American Roadrunners
4. Diamond Dogs (Bocook)
5. Grand Slam USA (Verbal)

Any one interested in signing up please visit www.thepcba.org for signup sheet or email pvjv@zoominternet.net for more info. Entrance fee is all inclusive, no parking or entrance fees.

I need to chime in on this: I did receive a phone call today with a question about the tourney....I am not involved with PCBA anymore; Coach who called me thought I was a tournament director still, because it is still listed on their web site. I AM NOT a part of organization anymore (for a couple years). I will not allow that during any tourney/games that my team is at; nor do I or parents do that. I just want to set the record straight.

I was well informed of delays and cancellations. I was there during the rain delay on Saturday and eventual cancellation. I can say they did everything they could to try and get the games in. I received text messages and phone calls. No complaints here other than bad weather.

Weather was bad!

They did all they could to get the tournament in!

They could have made us play in dangerous conditions so they didn't have to refund.....

Couldn't agree with Kevin more...The folks up in Poland did everything they could to get the games in - They were very well staffed and worked their butts off in terrible conditions. For sure a disappointment that we didn't get to play it out with the quality teams that were entered.

A special thanks to the coaches of the Thunder Elite for the kind words after our game this morning...It's nice when coaches take the time to speak to the girls and compliment them on their hard work.

Also, thanks Kevin for our chat yesterday...Sorry we couldn't make the trip to Canton to get some ball in...A lot of tired parents with a 150 miles ahead of them...Hope to see you in Dayton!

Thanks Stingrays! It was very nice meeting up with your team. Very classy team. You guys built one heck of a team there. Hope to see you again sometime soon! We did manage to get one other game in Saturday morning against Silver Creek. Another very solid team, whom the last few years we have battled back and forth with. Classy bunch with very disciplined players! Thanks guys, it was a pleasure! Take care and good luck on the rest of your seasons!

It's ashame the weather washed out Sunday. There could of been some very good semi-final games with Stingrays, Cyclones, Silver Creek and Grand Slam those were some of the top ten teams listed in the first poll. Plus a very good Thunder elite team, that was a tough match-up for them to play Stingrays in a first round game with a blind draw. Lets hope the weather gets better.
Good luck to everyone with the rest of the season.

Drew you are exactly right. Great field of teams would have been battling. Can't wait to play your team next week. As usual your team is very good with solid pitching and hitting. Lets just hope we can get mother nature to cooperate for a change! That Stingray team is very tough. It was a tough first draw. We battled to a tie until the last inning and like very good teams do they strike you sooner or later. Was a great learning experience. Good luck to both your teams. Both teams are ranked for a reason. will be making some noise all season long. Take care.
