Locker Rooms, Practice, & Competitive Facilities: quality, availability, exclusivity of use, maintenance and preparation of facilities.

Equipment & Supplies: quality, suitability, quantity, availability, maintenance, & replacement.

I mean if the baseball field is a mutimillion dollar stadium, and the Softball field is nothing more then a little league field,,,I think they could have a case under the quality aspect of Title IX.

This is how they don't have a case. I'm sure the amount of federal financial assistance is appropriate for both sports. The difference is that the baseball field is privately sponsored (Medlar Field at Lubrano Park) and the softball field (Nittany Lion Field) does not have a private sponsor. Title IX does not address private donations and sponsorships.

Len, the private donations and sponsorships argument does not fly in regards to Title IX.

PENN STATE in Columbus this weekend. Saturday Double Header. Who cares about their field I still like seeing them getting beat on ours even if we do not have the best. To a Buckeye it is. OH IO

This weekend series takes on a whole a new meaning after Michigan's sweep of OSU today. One loss by OSU to Penn State or one Michigan win over Michigan State and Michigan clinches outright the Big Ten Championship as there's no Big Ten tournament this year in softball. Still a strong showing by OSU will no doubt still work towards a favorable regional seed for OSU or even hosting one.
