That makes the 12's look even better then because both emeralds and the wildcats won last week. With the 4 from wadsworth that would give them 7 wins.

Wadsworth Red is 14U, Wadsworth Black is 12U. ?Also, as Hitman mentioned, the Wildcats are splitting their games between their 12s and 14s, so it's a stretch to count their win as one for 12U.

You have to keep in mind that maybe some of the 12U teams are not starting with their "A"team and giving some of the greener players some play time before summer.

It seems to me that at least the Emeralds teams and the Wadsworth black team are able to hold their own against the 14U teams.

Ok so you don't count the wildcats game emeralds have won 2 lost 1 tied 1 wadsworth black has won 2. Which is 4-1-1 which is what I stated in my first post.

I don't know about other coaches, but for Emeralds Black winter ball is about preparing for summer. We will change pitchers every game and move players around. All girls are playing equally and our lineup is rotating. If I had been playing to win, we would probably be 2-0. Not too bad for a 12u team . . .

exactly my point Sully3, not all teams are in winter ball to win every game. It's about seeing what you have to work with and where the players best positions are in a game situation.

I guess the bottom line is this Hitman, there are 11 teams in the league, 4 of them are 12U and of those 12U teams 3 seem to be more than able to compete with the 14s, thus not diminishing the competition for the 14U teams.

We are only in the second week, so lets all have some fun and see how the whole thing plays out in the end.

Train, since your stat savy, set aside Wadsworth (as I said in my original post) and also the games played by 12s vs 12s and what do you have? The numbers are not significant at this stage.

All are preparing for summer ball and thats why some 12s want to be more challenged by playing against 14s. My point is that some of those 12s take away from some of the 14s ability to do the same. Then the 14s would have to play up to 16u and so on with no end.

We'll see. Hopefully most are happy in the end. Practicing for 1hr prior to gametime and playing in a mixed le
ague is still better than working in a gym IMHO. Pinnacle is a great facility.
I agree the numbers are not significant at this time I was just trying to figure out how you came up with the idea that the only 12u team worthy of playing 14u was wadsworth.When as you stated take out wadsworth, and the 12u on 12u. And you still have a winning record for the 12's. Just thought it was a little premature being only 2 weeks in to say teams don't belong.

Hummmm. So... let me get this straight Hitman. You don't think the 12u are good enough to play in the 14u division at Pinnicle? It sounded like the wildcats put their 12u in and gave them a taste. I frankly would commend them for doing this. I think its great that they showed enough confidence in their girls to throw them to the loins to see how they would do. Sounds like they held their own.

I believe, but don't quote me Tallmadge, one of the Wadsworth teams, Central Park Crushers, Highland, Lady Eagles and North Coast.
