Thursday: NJ Crush 4, Freeze 3

Game tied 3-3 in the 7th, Crush runner on 2B, two outs. Ground ball to SS, bad throw past 1B, but RF backing up has it immediately, batter goes to 2B anyway - dead duck - BUT the field ump standing in the baseline gets hit with the throw, runner who was at 2B scores. What a way to lose!

Valley Extreme Blue ended up taking home Third place - lost a heart-breaker in the final four 4-3 in 11 innings :'(

The girls played excellent ball all week - we couldn't be any prouder!
