Is there any information out there about the OHIO travel teams and how they are doing? How's the competition or the which teams seem to be standing out? Any input would be great! Good luck to all OHIO teams!

Valley Extreme Red (Rick Mills) out of Cortland is undeafeted so far with a record of 5-0. One more win today puts us in the "Sweet 16". VERY GOOD GAMES AND COMPETITON. Must have your "A" game at all times or you will find yourself in the losers bracket. Playing teams out of NY, Pittsburgh, NJ. Good Luck to everyone and hope this rain stops!!!!

They were beaten by the amherst new york team that went on to win the tournamentl
According to the tournament director, they are the first ohio team to go this far in the 16's.
ohio was represented well with the 12's also having a couple teams finish in the top 4!!!
Never underestimate the power of Ohio fastpitch softball.

Congrats to the Ohio Classics Purple for making the final 4 of the PONY Nationals. There were 15 Ohio teams playing in the tourney and Ohio Classics and Valley Extreme Red were the two to make it to the Sweet 16 or better...
The Valley Extreme Red team battled their way to a 6-1 record and finished T-9. Aside from one bad inning in the whole tournament and it could have easily been 2 Ohio teams in the final four. They got beat 4-2 to get into the elite 8 and surely had the team that could have taken it all.

Thanks for the congrats but just to clarify...Valley Extreme "Red" is out of Cortland, OH, not Miami Valley.
