Wgman21 nice!! Ice Richars is the front runner in my opinion with Pittsburgh Powre Shepard close behind but watch out for that Lasers Red team this season!!!!

It's a very complex formula that I use to determine the best 16U teams in Ohio, only the BCS has a more accurate rating system.

There is still alot to think about before these predictions and stirring up stuff. Inside nets, Teams winter schedules etc. How can you make predictions this early?? I can't. And, it seems kinda silly to. I have watched most teams in our area who would be creamed outside do great, opposite inside just because and quite the opposite. Shots that were clear doubles and triples, on an outside diamond turn into singles etc on indoors. It's not about winning and losing during the winter months for us in central Ohio. It's about playing the best we can find since we are limited. In fact very limited on indoor facilities.

The team to watch? Ohio Classics 12U. A great coach, 2 tough pitchers and two very talented catchers not to mention talent all over the infield and outfield. And hitting? No holes in their lineup that's for sure!
Oh yes....they will be very fun to watch this summer!

I'd put the Slammers at #1 over Ice - Richards based on in outdoor games the Slammers are 4-1 over the Ice. The Ice's win was a 1-0 in 06 while the Slammers have won by as much as 10-0.

The fact that you have so many tourneys in your neck of the woods, and very rarely come south of Akron, plays a big part in not getting much attention. Nothing wrong with that, just my thoughts.

I really thought that the topic was predictions???? now I could be wrong but is it prediction from last year or two years ago, I think it is this year 08 I was watching the Ice/Slammers game and it was a great game. Now the rules all weekend stated drop dead and there was a lot of games that came down to the books. A loss is a loss, some people are poor losers. Now I seen the Ice coach asking for more time, and ending up getting it, I thougt that was very classy out of him. I saw his team play 16u the week earlier and his team lost the same way and I did not see one thread crying about how it didnt count and we did this last year. If there is one thing the Ice teams have is CLASS and they should be very proud of that. Remember one thing your only as good as your last game..... how did you do????? ;D
